Diaspora groups continue to say good-bye to their mentor and driving force- Leila Rispens-Noel.
Leila, well known for her passion and concern towards a poverty-free world, has been very instrumental in advocating advocating for the inclusion of migration in development strategies and the active participation of diaspora organizations in decision-making processes in the field of migration and development. Farewell and Thanksgiving parties have become the order of the day in The Netherlands since the beginning of March 2009.
